Today we are introducing three new part numbers to our range of suspension and mounting bushes for the Fiat 500.
Firstly we, are adding two new engine mounts to give additional coverage of US models, including the Abarth. Powerflex Engine Mount Inserts are designed as a labour saving method of providing additional stability to the engine under acceleration and increased load.
PFF16-522 Lower Engine Mount Insert – US Models This part fits into voids in original bush and bracket part numbers: 68105215AA, 68105215AB and 68081614AD.
PFF16-523 Lower Engine Mount Insert – US Models This part fits into voids in original bush and bracket part number: 68073029AC.
For non-US models please use existing part numbers PFF16-520 for standard Fiat 500 and Ford KA vehicles, and PFF16-521 for Fiat 500 Abarth.
A common failure on these popular vehicles is the perishing of rubber shock absorber mounting bushes, leading to knocking and excessive movement of the shock absorbers and in turn, vauge handling.
PFR16-515 Rear Shock Absorber Top Mounting Bush replaces the top bush on the standard OE shock absorber including the Abarth models. Shock absorber OE part numbers 51857840, 51857841, 51857842, 51857843, 51860150, 51864833, 51957098, 5744631.
For vehicles used in Motorsport or predominately on track, these new bushes are available in our Black Series range, manufactured using our 95 Shore A compound that boasts 25% increased stiffness over our Purple 80 Shore A material.
