Engine mount bushes and inserts are an important upgrade when tuning an engine’s performance. They secure the engine’s position, are the main point of NVH absorption between the powertrain and chassis, and restrict engine rotation under heavy torque application helping to harness those power increases, and transfer power to the road or track where you need it.
As such, Powerflex offers a wide range of engine mount bushes and inserts and this week we are announcing two new parts for the VAG MQB platform torque mounts:
Our previously released PFF3-1321 Lower Torque Mount Small Bush has proven to be an effective upgrade for Audi’s RS models, but we have since been made aware of differently-sized alternatives for other VAG models.
PFF3-1320 Lower Torque Mount Small Bush and PFF3-1324 Lower Torque Mount Small Bush are introduced to fill these gaps.
Made using our Black 95A Durometer Material to increase stiffness over worn rubber by up to 50% and improve durability, preventing such things as wheel hop and imprecise gear-shifting.
These bushes fit additional and newer MQB models and variants, including Audi A3, Q3, VW Golf Mk7 GTI and R, Golf Mk8 and Arteon, Seat Leon Mk4 and Skoda Octavia Mk4.
