As proud sponsors and suppliers of the Mini Challenge single-make racing championship, Powerflex plays an important role in the development of parts used to adapt road-going cars into all-out race cars.
So this week, to join our huge range of products for the F56 Mini, we are proud to release one of the most motorsport-focused parts in our Mini range, to the public.
PFF5-1301GFX Front Arm Front Bush Fixed Offset uses CNC-machined Aluminium outer shells with a fixed offset bore to ensure wheel geometry is maintained during kerb strikes and with the extreme lateral forces generated by slick tyres and circuit racing.
This is paired with a Black 95A durometer bush with a knurled bore, for increased stiffness (+60%) and durability over the OE rubber bush, resulting in minimal wishbone stiction and significantly reduced deflection.
Increasing negative camber by 0.75°, this bush achieves reliable, grip-focused wheel geometry, tested and approved by the Mini Challenge; and perfectly complements our PFF5-1302BLK / PFF5-1302GBLK Front Arm Rear Bush for those serious track and race car builds; especially when combined with adjustable top mounts.
This bush also fits the front wishbone of a number of models built on BMW’s UKL platform. For a full application list, visit our website.
