With 280hp, a burbling exhaust note and a razor-sharp FWD chassis, the Hyundai i30 N has taken the hot hatch market by storm, and for good reason. It’s a fun, fast, daily driver, that is equally at home on the road or track, holding its own against Europe’s elite.
This week we are pleased to extend our hugely popular range of suspension, engine and transmission mounting parts for the i30N, with variants to suit road and track.
For almost 5 years Powerflex has been the go-to solution with our PFF26-120 Lower Torque Mount Bush upgrade, but this week we are going a step further by introducing a precision-engineered billet bolt-on mount.
With its unique dual-sleeve fastening setup for reduced twist of the mount, this really is the N-ext level upgrade for those looking for ultimate engine stability.
PFF26-122 Lower Torque Mount – Fast Road is an anodised CNC-Machined 6082 Aluminium mount pre-fitted with our Yellow 70A and Black 95A polyurethane bushes, for a true “bolt-off, bolt-on” replacement, with no pressing or assembly required.
PFF26-122P Lower Torque Mount – Fast Road/Track combines our stiffer Purple 80A and Black 95A materials, providing a 350% increase in stiffness over OE for even sharper response and durability for more extensively tuned vehicles or mild track use.
PFF26-122BLK Lower Torque Mount – Motorsport uses our Black 95A material for all bush components to maximise mount stiffness, resulting in a mega 1300% increase over the stock mount for uncompromising powertrain control for serious track and motorsports use.
An increase in NVH, usually at idle, should be expected when stiffening the connecting mount between the engine and chassis with these parts. The harder the material used, the greater the NVH transmitted.
Aside from the i30 N, these parts also fit the Kona N, Veloster N, Elantra N, Kia Cee’d and a number of other Hyundai and Kia models as shown on our website.
