The Honda Civic FL5 is the latest ferociously fast and powerful machine to emerge from the Type R skunkworks in Japan.
Despite being brand new and one of the finest hot hatches on the planet, Honda tuners across the globe, including UK-Based Dream Automotive, are already starting to upgrade the power, suspension and brakes in search of those few extra tenths on track.
Fast front-heavy FWD vehicles are often fitted with limited-slip differentials to improve understeer and traction, but even the newest factory-fitted soft rubber bushes can allow for excessive suspension deflection, promoting imprecise handling, braking instability and occasional wheel-hop, taking the sharp edge off a razor-sharp track weapon when pushed.
This week we make specific additions to the latest FL5 Civic front end for those in search of that little extra.
PFF25-1201 Front Wishbone Front Bush uses our classic and easy-to-fit ‘top-hat’ design in our Black 95A material and rotates around a stainless steel sleeve for increased durability and quality feel to your front end.
PFF25-1102G Front Wishbone Rear Bush Anti-Lift Kit carries over from our FK8 listing and combines a two-piece dual durometer (Purple 80A/Black 95A) bush with an in-house CNC machined bracket providing anti-lift, +0.5 deg of caster adjustment and a mighty 300% increase in stiffness over OE.
PFF25-1220 Lower Torque Mount Insert is made in our Yellow 70A material effectively reducing excessive and unwanted engine movement of the heavily voided original bush for improved gear changes and sharper throttle response.
