The Lotus Emira has been a global hit since its 2022 launch. Famed for their handling, Lotus has stayed true to form with the latest incarnation from Hethel.
Even with recently delivered cars, customers with the supercharged V6 Toyota-engined variant have reported excessive movement of the power-train when pushing on, leading to delayed shift response and vague driver feel, with the cause found to be the heavily voided OE rubber mounts.
This week’s release provides a cost-effective upgrade and solution to the problem.
PFR34-1120 Transmission Mount Bush Insert Kit is made in our Yellow 70A material and designed to fill the voiding of the OE rubber. This restricts movement within the mount to provide a more precise and settled engine and transmission response during on/off throttle acceleration and deceleration, with improved shift performance.
A small increase in NVH, usually at idle, should be expected when stiffening the connecting mount between the transmission and chassis. The harder the material used, the greater the NVH transmitted.
This kit also fits the 2016 onwards Lotus Evora 400, GT, 410, and GT410 models.
This kit is also available in our stiffer 95A Black Series material for those looking for a more track/motorsport-focused part.
