VW T25/T3 owners are an enthusiastic bunch, often going to extreme lengths to restore or modify these popular and wonderfully charismatic vans.
With mostly long journeys in mind, the suspension has to be right, and clonking caused by blown bump stops simply won’t do. The rubber deteriorates and breaks up, meaning it no longer serves to cushion the front suspension over rough ground.
Until now, we have only provided bump stops for those lowering their vehicles with our shortened 65mm PFF85-1021 Front Bump Stop.
There has been a shift in demand, however, with owners wanting to restore the original height of the vehicle or even raise it for off-roading and for this reason, we are adding two new size options to our range.
PFF85-1021-82 Front Bump Stop is 82mm in length as fitted to most passenger-carrying T3 such as the Kombi, Caravelle and Westfalia campers.
PFF85-1021-88 Front Bump Stop is 88mm in length as fitted to single and double cab commercial vehicles.
Made in our Yellow 70A durometer material and featuring an internally bonded washer for support, they are a durable and longer-lasting replacement, perfect for the demands presented with road and off-road driving.
These parts are also available in our ‘Classic’ Dark Grey Heritage Collection aimed towards owners wanting the look of a standard rubber bush but with the performance, durability and longevity of a modern, technically advanced polyurethane component.
