The 1st generation 9-5 YS3E was Saab‘s answer to BMW’s 5-Series and Mercedes’ E-Class of the same era, and it put up a pretty good fight. Ok, it didn’t quite compete in terms of handling or precision, but it was dependable with a prestigious aura and feeling of quality inside and remains popular with enthusiasts to this day.
However, given that Saab as a brand no longer exists, finding quality replacement parts is an increasing challenge, so this week sees us introduce a new front subframe bush option to our already wide selection of parts for the 9-5.
PFF66-208-40 Front Subframe Bush is made using our Purple 80A durometer material and now includes the larger 40mm centre bushes to suit the later 2002-2010 models.
Over time, the front subframe bushes can soften and perish, leading to poor alignment, increased noise and a general lack of steering precision and handling performance.
This new part is nearly 50% stiffer than a worn OE rubber bush, playing an important role in maintaining front subframe alignment.
For added peace of mind, they are covered by our unrivalled Lifetime Warranty, making them a genuinely fit-and-forget part!
These parts are also available in our 95A Track / Competition-focused Black Series.
