Can good things come in small packages?
Well, GM’s Small Platform would suggest they do, as it’s formed the basis for many of the most popular selling small cars and mini-vans of the last 20 years, with Alfa Romeo’s Mito, Fiat’s Grande Punto and Vauxhall’s Corsa D/E all sharing underpinnings.
They’re no strangers to Powerflex, therefore, and we’ve had a range of products available for these models for many years, including our on-car adjustable PFF80-1102G Front Wishbone Rear Bush.
For those less performance-focused models and mini-vans used for day-to-day business, the complexities and costs of an adjustable bush can be prohibitive, so we’ve seen an increase in the demand for a non-adjustable, replacement solution.
PFF80-1702 Front Wishbone Rear Bush offers that simplicity providing a cost-effective, durable fit-and-forget replacement.
Made from our Purple 80ShA Polyurethane material, these bushes are supplied with a CNC-machined outer shell, stainless-steel sleeve and supporting washers. Its design features a tapered bore, allowing for the required articulation while limiting deflection under acceleration and braking.
This new part fits the following models:
Alfa Romeo MiTo
Citroen Nemo
Fiat Grande Punto (inc. Abarth)
Fiat Punto Evo (inc. Abarth)
Fiat Punto Mk3
Fiat Qubo
Fiat Fiorino
Fiat Linea
Peugeot Bipper
Vauxhall/Opel Adam
Vauxhall/Opel Corsa D (inc. VXR/OPC)
Vauxhall/Opel Corsa E (inc. VXR/OPC)
As with many of our bushes, this part is available in our stiffer Track/Competition-focused Black Series, made in our Black 95A material.
Please note that a new part number of PFF80-1102G now supersedes our previous part number PFF80-1102 to align with the ‘G’ part numbering suffix associated with our range of geometry- adjustable bushes.
