Hamilton drives a Powerflex sponsored MINI CHALLENGE UK JCW racer!!
Ok, so it wasn’t Lewis but it was great to see Nicolas Hamilton & Anthony Hamilton at Silverstone with RMA Track Days and Ryan Motorsport Insurance.
Nick surprised Dad, Anthony with a combined Christmas and Birthday present of a day in a MINI CHALLENGE JCW Class racer, the first time Anthony has ever driven a full blown race car on slicks.
Nice present Nick, now dad knows how tough it is! #MINIFathersDay
Though there is no timing allowed on track days, it was clear that Anthony has the Hamilton flair for driving and the focus to be quick on track. After a tentative start on cold tyres on the morning, by the end of the day Anthony was flying and itching to arrange another day to develop his skills further.
Let’s, hope that we see Anthony racing with us in future.
