This week we have some engine mounting bushes to add to our current catalogue listings for the Alfa 145/6, the 147 & 156, the Spider and GTV (916).
PFF1-820 replaces the bush fitted between the upper engine mount stabilizer bar and the engine on petrol 1.6 to 2.0 petrol engines. It replaces Alfa bush part number 46420429 and 60814467.
PFF1-821 fits into the stabilizer bar to the chassis on 1.4, 1.6 and 1.8 16v Twin Spark petrol models where they have an extruded aluminium bracket. The bush fits Alfa bracket part numbers 46752045 and 60627691
PFF1-822 fits into a welded steel stabilizer bracket as fitted to the 2.0 16v Twin Spark, JTS and Quadrifoglio petrol engine models. The bracket part number the bush fits into is 60652899.
We have designed voids into PFF1-820 and PFF1-822 to help control and limit transmission of noise or vibration.
PFF1-820 fits into the casting on the engine where the stabilizer bracket attaches, PFF1-821 and PFF1-822 fit into the stabilizer bracket.
With the bushes fitted the engine movement is reduced allowing for a more direct drive of power to the wheels along with reducing stress on exhaust down pipes, wiring and hoses.
