Mini Generation 3 (F56)

New Products

This week we are excited to announce a new application listing for the freshly released BMW Mini Generation 3 (F56).

This completes our listings for all BMW Mini models, including Generation 1 and Generation 2.

Powerflex bushes are specified as standard fitment for all cars in the 2015 Mini Challenge Series. We would like to thank all of the Mini Challenge team for their help during the development and testing stages of these parts.

Testing has shown that increasing the front camber has significantly improved the front end grip and turn in. For these reasons we have developed an adjustable front bush allowing increased negative camber to be dialled in and precisely set up on car.

PFF5-1301G Front Arm Front Bush Camber Adjustable – The offset sleeve is designed to provide +/- 0.75 degrees of on-car adjustment of camber. This enables the camber angles to be trimmed to suit driver requirements and to resolve alignment issues. Made using our Shore A 95 polyurethane compound as standard to achieve desirable handling characteristics.

PFF5-1301 Front Arm Front Bush – These bushes are non-adjustable versions of the above, offering positive steering and sharper handling without the added adjustment features.

PFF5-1302 Front Arm Rear Bush – Featuring a CNC machined aluminium outer shell, this bush houses two polyurethane components that enable the front arm to rotate freely as opposed to applying a torsion force to the original rubber bush.

We have tested the standard bush to asses it’s loading characteristics and have compared it our new design that has been tuned to give less deflection for a given load. This video documents our testing process and explains some fascinating properties of our bush and how it compares to the original.

PFF5-1303-24.5 Front Anti Roll Bar Bush 24.5mm

PFR5-1310 Rear Trailing Arm Front Bush – This bush has serrated profile that secures its position into features in the rear trailing arm.

PFR5-1311 Rear Lower Lateral Arm Outer Bush – This bush is constructed of two polyurethane components made using our Shore A 95 compound as standard to replicate the stiffness of the original bush. These parts are housed in a zinc plated steel outer shell.

PFR5-1313 Rear Upper Lateral Arm Inner Bush – Has similar design features to the above but fits into the inner position of the rear upper lateral arm.

PFR5-1314-21.4 Rear Anti Roll Bar Bush 21.4mm

PFR5-1315 Rear Anti Roll Bar Link Rod Bush

PFF5-1320 Lower Engine Mount Large Bush features radial slots to allow a controlled amount of movement to limit NVH levels. This bush is also supplied with an insert that fits into these slots that will further limit engine movement, ideal for comfortable daily use with the option to easily stiffen the bush without removal.

Our website listings for each part include detailed photographs, original part number referencing and downloadable fitting instructions where required.

For vehicles being used predominantly on the track or in motorsport, these bushes are available in our Black Series material.

A range of bushes engineered for the road to compliment your classic car.
